Anyway, with all of that said, I've finally gotten it down to two cribs! Which one do you like best?

To Choose a Crib
Choosing a crib has become quite the task! After spending hours searching the internet and finding over a dozen potentials, I had to do some research to weed out the ones least qualified. For future mums to be, I highly recommend purchasing the book, Baby Bargains. It's a necessity, especially if your a first time mom! Trust me! There were two things that have helped me survive the last five months (especially registering for baby necessities): that book and my dear friend, Lindsay Clark! She recently had her first child, a son, Carter and is now pregnant with her second, a little girl, Paige, who is due in July! Having a friend you can trust to give you tips and advice on the process and must have products is essential (if you want to stay sane anyway). HA!

JILL! I like the bottom crib. From the two pictures, it seems more "you" to me. I also voted for the name Scottlyn.....I KNEW you would have the most creative name choices for your baby and you didn't disappoint! & Scotty is such an adorable nickname for a little girl. I love your blog, I got tears in my eyes at your ultrasound pic! Will you please post more pics of you! I am having a hard time picturing my tiny friend Jill preggers :)

One thing to consider is the type of paint used on the top edges all around the crib. Cannon left major teeth marks all over his crib when he was teething and I was trying to get him to sleep on his own. I would make sure the paint is not easily chipped, toxic and/or get plastic guards for the top. This will only be needed much later. :) And that's my two cents.

I Like the second crib. The black one has too many sharp corners where a baby could crawl around and bump its sweet little head into. It is not feminine.

ReplyDeleteSo I'm going to jump around, but I love crib #2, Scottlyn is adorable, I want that MJ mix ASAP (not because I'm pregnant too - maybe sometime soon - but because it sounds sooo fun), and I loved learning more about Kelly. But the best was your story about running down the hospital halls with a sucker or whatever - total LOL. Love you. Katie
This morning I reviewed all the "latest" styles in baby clothes. What a pretty array!!!I am going to have one of the best dressed baby great grand daughters ! Can't wait to see her in them. I'm sure you'll be picking out several.
